June 14, 2007 – Abbas dissolves the federal government and dismisses Haniyeh as prime minister. Haniyeh rejects this and stays the de facto chief within the Gaza Strip.
December 8, 2019 – Haniyeh arrives in Turkey, the primary cease on a tour. It’s his first worldwide tour since he was elected in Might 2017.
